The chemical and pharmaceutical industry is one of the core areas of Novasoft's operations. We have been implementing SAP applications at companies in the chemical and pharmacutical industry since the beginning of the 90s. The services we provide range from implementation of all R/2 and R/3 modules to migration from R/2 to R/3 and integration of new components. We optimise business processes throughout the supply chain on the basis of SAP solutions. In the pharmaceutical industry, for example, we know good manufacturing practice (GMP) and good storage practice (GSP) requirements and have detailed know-how about batch administration and tracking. In the chemical industry we are familiar with the special features of process industry, e.g. the connection of process control systems (PCS). We have also had experience with the integration of SAP-APO (Advanced Planner and Optimizer) and the SAP product EH&S (Environment, Health & Safety), which is used for the processing of dangerous substances at all stages of the logistic chain. In the context of complex transport assignments, we are aware of the special demands made with respect to the distribution of safety data leaflets and all the other transport documents that are typical of the chemical industry.
